Professor Elkashif has made a huge impact on my understanding of graphic design throughout my time as her student at Wartburg College. Before taking my first class with her, I did not understand the huge range of skills necessary to become a successful graphic designer, including creating videos and placing the utmost importance on communicating effectively rather than simply making a design attractive. Professor Elkashif has challenged me in the classroom with assignments that have pushed me to find creative solutions to new problems while giving me useful feedback so that I am always improving. She has also encouraged me as a designer by recommending that I participate in design competitions beyond the classroom to further promote my growth and success. Because of Professor Elkashif, I am much more confident as a graphic designer entering the workforce. I have truly valued my time in Professor Elkashif's classroom and am grateful for the countless skills and techniques I have learned from her. Not only is Professor Elkashif a talented designer, but she is also a wonderful professor that cares about me as a student and as a person.
